Statement of Faith

There is only one true and eternal God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
God is perfect in love and holiness. He is also the creator of heaven and earth and all good things that these realms contain. He holds all things together by His power and He has revealed Himself to all people through His creation, through His written word (the Bible) and most especially through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 6:3; 1 Timothy 1:17, Genesis 1:1, Psalm 145:17, Romans 1:18-20; Hebrews 1:1-3

Jesus Christ is God's only begotten and everlasting Son
Jesus Christ is true man and true God. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He lived a perfect and sinless life during His time on earth and He was crucified for all of mankind’s sins – past, present, and future. He rose bodily from the dead assuming a new, perfect, and glorified body and He was seen after His resurrection by over five hundred people. He ascended into heaven to prepare a place for those who commit their lives to Him, and He will return again to gather all those who believe in Him so that they may be with Him forever.

Luke 1:35, John 1:1-4; John 1:14; Philippians 2:5-7; Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:20-23; Acts 2:22, 23; 1 Corinthians 15:3; Acts 2:24, 31; Acts 2:32, 1 Corinthians 15:5-8; John 14:1-3

The Holy Spirit convicts us to repent of personal sin and to confess Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior
The Holy Spirit is God and He assists and teaches all believers to obey Jesus Christ. He dwells in all true believers and leads them into all truth. He helps every true believer to produce ‘fruit’ and gives them spiritual ‘gifts’ as He wills, so they might share the good news of Jesus Christ with their friends, family, and the world around them.

John 3:3-6; Romans 10:9,10; 1 Corinthians 12:3; John 14:26; Romans 8:1-14; 1 Corinthians 12:4-12; Galatians 5:22,23; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11; Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8

All men and women are created in God's image but are separated by sin, but they can be forgiven and restored to holiness and perfection by rebirth and renewal through Jesus Christ.
God sent Jesus Christ from heaven to be mankind’s Savior. Through confession of our sin, repentance from our sin and by personally placing our faith in Jesus Christ, our sins can be forgiven, and we become children of God. This transformation is a gift from God through His Son - and given free of charge to all those who desire to be His children.

Genesis 1:26,27, 3:13; Titus 3:4-6; 1 John 1:9; Romans 3:10-19, 23; 2Corinthians 7:9,10; John 3:5-7; 2 Corinthians 5:17; John 1:12,13; Ephesians 1:3-8, 2:8,9

Those who confess Jesus as Lord and Savior will demonstrate practical love and mercy towards others through faithful obedience, service, and giving of their time and resources to extend the Kingdom of Christ.
All true and committed followers of Jesus Christ will use their God-given gifts and talents for His glory. True believers understand that each one of them is called to full-time ministry regardless of their vocation, and they will pour out love and practical service to God and to others at all times because all people are created in His image. True believers will constantly give of their time, talents, resources, and strength, and will live to do this throughout their earthly lifetime and beyond.
